About us

Photography and Climate Change (PP&CC)project  is implemented with the aim of benefiting the power of the camera to specialize by using photography and video while expressing our happiness, excitement, anger, and emotions. Especially, our main working topic is climate change and its effects.

We are aware of the value of pictures to transfer our thoughts, feelings instead of a thousand words and would like to send messages to everyone via pictures and videos.

Climate change is threatening our world more than ever and to tackle and prevent it we need to reach more people on the way having climate change knowledge /awareness. Thus, we will be able to develop students' reasoning, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

In the rapidly changing world, we live in; It is getting harder and harder to keep up with the

innovations, even for young people who notice new trends right away. Almost no day is without tags and selfies do not pass and being connected to the internet becomes a necessity. This necessity couraged us to use the internet and cameras for combatting climate change. To create an international eco-friendly media we need a frame consisting of training activities on

photography and climate change. We send  messages to all to see the effects of climate change with pictures and videos.

Photography and climate change are topics that can be integrated to use digital skills in a meaningful way. As the whole world seeks and researches ways to reduce climate change and carbon emissions, we need the tools that will have the most impact on students and touch them the fastest. In order to reach the EU 2030 climate targets and reduce our carbon

footprint, we need to bring to light the intangible and far-reaching effects on individuals. The best tool to achieve this is the camera.
